Additional information on "Economics and Nature of Government Course for High School Students" by Various Authors

In an effort to provide our customers with greater savings and an easier ordering process, Bluestocking Press has packaged together our Economics for High School Students Course together with our Nature of Government Course, less the duplicate titles that are included in both courses. We've also included Capitalism for Kids in this package.

The Economics Course included in this package provides an excellent introduction to economics for high school students. These books have been used by students ages 12 and up, but are best suited for most students ages 14 and up.

America's Founders were most concerned with establishing a government that ensured the greatest economic prosperity and the greatest liberty for individuals. The structure of government that they created was designed to curb the ever-encroaching nature and growth of government, which the Founders believed was the basic nature of all governments. Most civics/government books do an adequate job of explaining the structure of America's government. However, what is often lacking is the "nature" of government - which was of major concern to America's Founders. The books included in this package provide the side of the story (the nature of government) that is most often missing from government/civics textbooks. These books have been used by students ages 12 and up, but are best suited for most students ages 14 and up.

The "Economics and Nature of Government for High School Students" package includes one each of the following titles:
($194.30 if purchased separately)

Whatever Happened to Penny Candy?

Are You a Liberal? Conservative? or Confused?

Conventional wisdom says that when the government expands the money supply, the money descends on the economy in a uniform blanket. This is incorrect. The money is injected into specific locations causing hot spots or "cones. These two titles help explain a system for tracking and profiting from these cones, for locating genuine money-making opportunities, and for avoiding those which are false or dangerous.
